Fresh Peach Pie Massachusetts

  1 unbaked 9-inch pastry crust
   7 fresh peaches, peeled and quartered
   3/4 cup granulated sugar
   1/4 cup flour
   1/2 teaspoon mace
   1/8 teaspoon salt
   1 cup Whipping cream
   1/4 cup toasted almonds, slivered
   Preheat oven to 400 F. Place peaches in pastry-lined pie pan. Mix together
   sugar, flour, mace, and salt. Slowly stir cream into dry ingredients and pour
   over peaches. Bake for about 45 minutes or until filling is set. Garnish with
   almonds and serve warm.
